Here is a fun clip to watch, a bit of guerrilla advertising done by Greenpeace.
To shell or not to shell

The next question you need to ask yourself is whether or not we are being lied to regarding Lesotho as a possible solution for our water crisis. I  pose this question simply because of information that has come to my attention with regards ti fracking. Are we being lied to? And how is it that we are already buying water from Lesotho yet we're still having water shortages? where is this water going to?

This is a really cool initiative called Hands 4 Others, (H4O). An American NGO that gets teenagers involved with communities around the world by helping resolve water shortage problems.

At least somebody big is doing something to aid with this issue. Sasol is doing great things with their National Water Week initiative. So far they have managed to:

  • Save 3.8 million cubic meters of water.
  • They've engaged with 114 000 households through water monitoring and leak-fixing programs.
  • They fixed the plumbing of 63 000 households and 76 schools.
  • As well as they brought awareness to 90 000 households regarding water conservation.

Give this a watch

I'm not sure about you, but I most certainly would not want to drink, shower, or wash my clothes in this water. And i'm sure neither would most people, so what is being done? Why are we not being informed about this? And what else is our government hiding from us?

What is being done about the water shortage and sanitation problems South Africa is facing?
We seem to be too distracted and preoccupied with Oscar, Julias, and Zuma that nobody is seeing what is really going on behind the scenes of our country.

It was reported by the Minister for Water and Environmental Affairs, Edna Molewa that it will cost SA R570 billion to resolve this problem that nobody seems to know about. Yet here our president is spending hundreds of millions for his own personal gain.
